Yo, ya gonna catch the slow, swishy strut of a little princess at the Spanish court, not some mopey funeral, 'cause I just dug how those words sounded, no cap! Fam, me and my fellow composers teach ya on this site to recognize our pieces whenever they play, so smash  the Trainer  and give it a whirl, bruh!

Yo, Sit Down, It's Slow-Mo Time

Yo yo yo, hold up, fam, I was only 24 when I cooked this up on solo piano in 1899, and it's marked Lent, which is basically 'chill out, bruh, nobody's late for nothin'! The opening tune floats in all velvet and sleepy-eyed in G major, like a cat sliding off a couch in slow motion, and in the orchestra I handed that melody to the horn, so one lone brass dude is out there crooning solo, dang!

Same Tune, New Outfit, Who Dis

Okay okay, so I built this thing as a rondo, which means the main tune keeps popping back up like that cousin who ghosts the group chat and then shows up at every single party, ya feel me? In between, the A, B and C bits roll through in a pattern, so I basically served ya a layered musical burrito, wrapped, folded, and zero chance of gettin' lost, no cap!

Roasting My Own Baby, Sorry Not Sorry

Aight, last stretch, and yeah, I let that main tune strut back in one final time, and the whole thing melts away softer than ice cream on a hot sidewalk, whoa! Here's the wild part, though: in 1912 I roasted my own piece, sayin' Chabrier's influence was way too glaring and the form was kinda weak, and then the world went bonkers for it anyway, so, ha, who's the hater now, huh?
