Ayo, my fellow composers and I are also gonna coach ya on this site to recognize my pieces the second they hit your speakers, so go on and try the Trainer , bruh, what are ya waitin' for?!

Seventh of Ten, Zero Chill
Yo yo yo, hold up, hold up, lemme tell ya how I rolled onto this planet! I was born Jacob Offenbach in Cologne in 1819, squeezed in as kid number seven out of ten, so dinner was basically a full-contact sport, bruh! My pops was a synagogue cantor, so singing was just the family hustle, and my brother Jules grabbed a violin while my sister Isabella smashed the piano, no cap! At fourteen I strolled into the Paris Conservatoire after an audition for Cherubini, and then I bounced after about a year, deadass, 'cause that school life was cramping my style!Cello Kid Goes Viral
Okay so check it, I'm slaying the cello at the Opéra-Comique from 1835, fam, and I'm hustlin' hard, no days off! Then I'm out touring as a virtuoso, ya heard, even hopping over to England in 1844 to flex on everybody, whoa! Same year I married Hérminie d'Alcain after converting to Roman Catholicism, so, like, big life moves stacked on big life moves, yikes! Then 1855 hits and I'm like, forget waitin' for a gig, I'll open my own theatre, the Bouffes-Parisiens, right on the Champs-Élysées, boom, mic drop, bam!Paris, Baby, Paris
Paris was my playground, bro, and I ran that whole town like a kid in a candy shop with a credit card! Back in 1850 I'd already grabbed the job of musical director at the Comédie-Française, so I was kinda a big deal, sheesh! Then Napoleon III handed me French citizenship in 1860, 'cause yep, I was born in Prussian Cologne, not France, can ya believe it? And in 1861 I became a chevalier of the Légion d'honneur, which is basically a fancy medal for being too awesome, period, lowkey iconic! The Leg-Kicking Banger
Alright, the big one, the one ya already know even if ya swear ya don't: Can-Can from Orpheus in the Underworld, y'all! That tune's pure chaos, dude, it's all galloping fiddles and a beat that makes your feet wanna riot, I'm not even playin'! Now hear me out, I did not invent that dance, nope, it was already kickin' around the rowdy joints since the 1830s, but my Orphée aux enfers in 1858 made it the hottest thing in town, mad props to me! I cranked out more operettas too, like La belle Hélène in 1864 and La Vie parisienne in 1866, 'cause why would I ever chill, huh?Germany Who? Oops
Then 1870 rolls up and the Second Empire crashes down, and, ugh, total faceplant, my dudes! Suddenly Paris side-eyed me hard 'cause I was German-born and chummy with the imperial court, harsh, right? Lucky for me, London and Vienna still loved me to bits, so I just shrugged and kept on cookin', ya feel me? Then I ran the Théâtre de la Gaîté from 1873, and man, that ended in money loss, ouch, my wallet cried like a baby!Last Lap, Gout and All
In 1876 I hopped across the ocean for a tour of the United States, 'cause apparently I can't sit still, geez! Back in Paris, I was sweating over my unfinished opera The Tales of Hoffmann, grinding on it like a madman, whew! Then on 5 October 1880 I died in Paris, aged 61, from heart failure brought on by acute gout, which, seriously, what a rude way to go, bro! They gave me a state funeral and tucked me in at Montmartre Cemetery, so yeah, I got a send-off fit for a legend, sniff!Dead But Still Dropping Hits
Plot twist, y'all: I missed my own big premiere, 'cause The Tales of Hoffmann hit the Opéra-Comique on 10 February 1881, months after I was gone, savage! Ernest Guiraud orchestrated it with major changes and cuts, so honestly nobody can say which version is the real deal, the story goes! Later operetta dudes like Franz von Suppé, Johann Strauss II and Arthur Sullivan soaked up my style, no joke, I was the blueprint! And in the 20th century folks kept reviving my stuff, so I'm like, still trendin' from the grave, lol, ridiculous! My Gift To Ya
So here's what I wanna slide into your hands, my friend: pure, loud, goofy joy, zero homework required! Ya don't need a fancy degree or a tux, just hit play and let that galloping silliness yank your shoulders around, trust me! If a kick-line pops into your head and ya wanna flail around the kitchen, then yo, I did my job, period! Go laugh, go dance, go annoy your neighbors, and tell 'em ol' Jacques sent ya, peace out, fam, catch ya later!---
Yo yo yo, hold up, hold up, fam, did ya vibe with my life story, or did it have ya snoozin' like a cat on a warm laptop, deadass? 'Cause the works of mine that are chillin' on this site are straight fire, bruh, startin' with the Can-Can from Orpheus in the Underworld, no cap, wooo! So go on, smash those links below right now, don't be shy, don't be a ghost, and let's get this party poppin', ya hear me?!
